Legal conformity and guarantee

Exive International B.V. guarantees that the products it supplies comply with the agreement, with the specifications stated in the offer, with reasonable requirements of soundness and/or usability, and with the legal provisions and government regulations applicable at the time of delivery.

The guarantee provided by Exive is equal to the guarantee it receives from its manufacturers or suppliers. The other party cannot claim a more extensive warranty than the factory warranty offered by the manufacturer or importer of the products.

A warranty provided by Exive, the manufacturer or the importer shall not affect the statutory rights and claims that the other party can enforce against Exive under the law or the contract.

Factory warranty

The factory warranty is an additional commitment by the manufacturer or importer that the product will be free of manufacturing or material defects for a certain period of time - standard maximum 1 year, unless stated otherwise. If a defect covered by the warranty occurs within this period, the manufacturer will, at its discretion:

  1. repair
  2. replace, or
  3. reimburse.

The user should present the product for assessment. Exive International B.V. acts as an intermediary and will, in consultation with the manufacturer, determine whether the defect is covered by the warranty. Repairs will be carried out exclusively at the address of Exive International B.V. in Zevenaar.


What is covered by the warranty

  1. Defects caused by demonstrable faults in production or material under normal and careful use.

What is not covered by the warranty

  1. Damage caused by wrong, careless or injudicious use.
  2. Normal wear and tear and traces of use.
  3. Damage caused by external influences such as knocks, falls or weather conditions.
  4. Damage as a result of transport by or on behalf of the other party.
  5. Modifications or repairs carried out by third parties.
  6. Use of the product for a purpose other than that for which it was designed.
  7. Gifts or free products (these are not covered by any warranty).

If a product has been used incorrectly or carelessly, any warranty is voided.

Applicable terms and conditions

All deliveries and services of Exive International B.V. are subject to Exive's general terms and conditions of delivery. These are available on request and can be consulted via our website.
